Back in June, we posted about the construction going on over at Harvest Thyme in Davidsonville. Having been open for a few months now, (and having eaten there several times) we can officially say this wonderful restaurant is a success!
As with all of our projects, we always appreciate gaining more experience in designing to Health Department standards and this 4,000 SF space was no exception. Integrating kitchen design concepts prepared by a food service consultant with our comprehensive drawings for permit and construction set the table for the construction process. Efforts for ensuring that we met the health department challenges were occurring on a parallel tract, so that the project could be completed in a timely manner. During the design process, we were able to explore creative ways to display their extensive wine collection, construct their several large bar tops, and achieve a warm farm-to-table aesthetic.
